Applying is simple, fast, and free. Once you apply, you'll get a student ID which makes it easier for us to help you find funding and register.

Placement determines where you're at with your learning and ensures you take the right college-level courses to be successful, which saves you time and money.

Transfer Your Credits (optional)

If you have AP, IB, or other college-level credits you want to put toward your degree, transfer your credits to Shoreline by submitting your high school or college transcripts.

Plan Courses & Register

During the registration process, students reserve their spot in their classes for the quarter. Work with an advisor or use a planning guide to determine your program’s course requirements before registering.

Pay Tuition & Fees

Pay your tuition and fees on time so you don't get dropped from classes. Even if you got financial aid or scholarships, you may still have to take action to apply those funds to your balance.

Attend New Student Orientation: Success starts here! Find out how to be a college super star and get acquainted with everything that Shoreline has to offer.

Check out the Current Students portal: Located at the top of every page for easy access, the Current Students portal is your one-stop spot for all of the information and resources you need while taking classes at Shoreline.

Get your student ID card: Check out library books, reserve study rooms, use the computer lab, get free entry to sporting events, and more.

Plan transportation & parking: Get your parking permit, a discounted ORCA card, check out the free shuttle, explore carpool options, and plan out your transportation ahead of time to avoid first-day stress or over-paying.

Learn about Canvas: Canvas is the online portal where most instructors post course materials like assignments and grades, answer questions, and host classroom forums. Make sure you know how to login and take time to familiarize yourself with the portal before classes start.
